Why Your Membership Matters?

The American Legion is a supportive community where you can help your fellow veterans, and they can help you in return. Founded in 1918, it is the largest veterans' organization in the United States, with over 3 million members. We are veterans just like you, and we care deeply about America, our fellow veterans, our families, and our children. As a member of Post 50, we continue to serve our God, our country, and our community. Your post needs your support now.

Our Legionnaires participate in various community activities, including parades, memorials, and dedications. We have a funeral honor guard detail that is ready, willing, and able to serve at the family's request. This service is available to all veterans. When requested, we also assist other veteran organizations with their memorials. Additionally, we sponsor local students to participate in Boys State and provide scholarships to help educate our children.

  • A copy of your DD-214 or Active Duty Military ID.

  • Membership Dues of $61

  • If you are transferring in, send us a copy of your current membership card and payment of either this year’s dues (if not yet paid) or next year's dues (if this year’s dues have already been paid).
